Deleting COS Configurations

You can delete a COS ConfigurationA logical grouping of devices, usually consisting of one or more COS - SDs and Testing Devices. A COS Configuration has two primary functions: It allows you to logically group Testing Devices and COS - SDs and it allows you to easily specify the settings for all of the devices in the COS Configuration. by clicking the Delete Configuration button in the Header Bar of the COS Configuration Management page.

Before you can delete a COS Configuration, all of the COS - SDs and Testing Devices associated with the COS Configuration must be removed from the COS Configuration (see the Related Topics).

  1. To delete a COS Configuration from the COS database select the COS Configuration from the COS DashboardProvides visual status information for all COS Configurations, COS - SDs, and Testing Devices plus links that can be used to manage each COS Configuration, including COS - SDs and Testing Devices. and click Delete Configuration from the Header Bar.

  2. When you click Delete Configuration, if no COS - SDs or Testing Devices are associated with the COS Configuration, the Confirm Deletion dialog box displays to verify your decision. Click Confirm to delete the COS Configuration or Cancel to cancel the deletion.
